COMMUNITY SERVICE

Continuing to fight for the rights of those not represented, Bellavia Gentile & Associates has established its "Balancing the Scales on Long Island" pro bono program. This program not only furthers the Firm's participation in the community, but reinforces each attorney's contribution and ethical responsibility to provide appropriate, quality legal services to the disadvantaged. The attorneys at Bellavia Gentile & Associates are no strangers to helping those less fortunate. In 1998, Long Island Cares presented the Firm's Founding Partner Leonard A. Bellavia with the 8th Annual Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award for his commitment and efforts in the fight against hunger. "As a firm, we strongly believe in contributing to the local communities in which we work and live. In fact, we encourage it," stated Senior Partner Leonard A. Bellavia. Balancing the Scales on Long Island is the formalized effort of our attorneys and their willingness to be involved in a pro bono public service program.
